CM Basavaraj Bommai releases biography of former ISRO scientist in Bengaluru      Onto Rocket Ship , a biography of Dr. B.N. Suresh, a renowned former ISRO scientist, was        released on Saturday by Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai in Bengaluru. Dr. Suresh was involved in the development of Indian Launch vehicles like ASLV, PSLV, GSLV and GSLV Mk3 at Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) for the last four decades. The book authored by his son Sunil Suresh tracks Dr. Suresh’s journey from a small village called Hoskare near the town of Koppa to overseeing the development of India’s launch vehicles. Mr. Bommai on the occasion proposed setting up an authority or a body which uses scientific knowledge that can solve the day to day problems faced by society. “We should make an authority to interact, follow day to day problems, and use scientific knowledge to solve problems. As head of the State, I am r...

Scientists Discover Massive "Ocean" Near Earth's Core The study confirmed something that it was only a theory, namely that ocean water accompanies subducting slabs and thus enters the transition zone. Scientists have discovered a reservoir of water three times the volume of all the oceans beneath the Earth's surface, according to an international study . The water has been found between the transition zone of the Earth's upper and lower mantle. The research team analyzed a rate diamond formed 660 meters below the Earth's surface using techniques including Raman spectroscopy and FTIR spectrometry, ANI reported. The study confirmed something that for a long time it was just a theory, namely that ocean water accompanies subducting slabs and thus enters the transition zone. This means that our planet's water cycle includes the Earth's interior. "These mineral transformations greatly hinder the movements of rock in the mantle," explains Prof. Fran...

First 3D quantum accelerometer could let ships navigate without GPS A device that measures acceleration very precisely using quantum effects could be used for navigation when GPS is unavailable A quantum device that can determine its position in three dimensions is more accurate than non-quantum versions. Vehicles could use it to navigate even if GS stopped working. One way to keep track of something’s position is with an accelerometer, which is a small device that is found in everything from phones to drones. Accelerometers work by detecting changes in movement and therefore position. It has been known for decades that quantum effects could be used make more accurate accelerometers, but most … International Young Scientist Awards Organised by Sciencefather https:// youngscientistawards.com #youngscientist #sciencerocks #physicist #scientist #laboratory #biologist #science #microbiology #biotech #biochemistry #technology #study #universe #medicalstudent #res...

It is safe to say that blockchain is revolutionizing the way we move and store information. Walking down the same lane of information, Google has now announced its cloud-based blockchain node services for Ethereum! This step highlights the ever increasing amount of attention Google is providing to the blockchain, crypto and Web3 ecosystem. On Thursday, Google took to their blog to announce, Building on our commitment to help Web3 developers build and deploy new products on blockchain-based platforms, today we’re thrilled to announce Google Cloud’s Blockchain Node Engine. The Blockchain Node Engine from Google is a fully managed node-hosting service and also minimizes the need for node operations. Any Web3 organization that requires dedicated nodes can reroute their tra...
